  • Thanks for sharing your collection! I have the same flute as displayed on 2:36. I can't find any information on the web. It looks like a Claire Godfroy but not completely. Maybe a Fischer from NY? Do you know?

  • @VintageTenorSound That flute was an unmarked Pratten style in cocuswood with nickel silver keys. I'm unsure of manufacturer as there was no stamp whatsoever.

  • Parabens pelos seus vídeos!! como vai você? tudo bem? quantos anos de estudo? (saudações do Brasil !!)

  • @MrStravinsk Olá! e obrigado. Eu estou fazendo muito bem. Eu tenho jogado a flauta por 15 anos este ano embora raramente jogo agora.

  • I love the opening piece; the Habanera from Carmen. I'm sure at the time it was written, Bizet didn't expect it to be as popular as it is today! I'm sure he's absolutely thrilled that it is.

  • What is that song... from an old tv show, featuring a flute as the melody? It was like ... do do do do do do?(repeat) Sounds like 6/8 time?

  • Flute displaye at 2:36: Thanks! I did some googling and have found a flute looking like this one, it was a Hawkes & Son (see website of mcgee-flutes). It is incredible how many different flutes were made and how different they all are..

  • @07boyce That was an anniversary edition silver plated Rittershausen flute. Soldered toneholes, excellent craftsmanship, made in Berlin, played wonderfully! Good luck finding another one of those, it's the only one I've ever seen!

  • this is great im fond of them all ^^

i play the small black fife at the bottom :3

  • I love The music Carmen! Beutiful Piece! Better Then Every a Hip Hop Artist Today Combined!

  • Ahh. Real music. Finally. What songs are these? And if you know, what kind of flute is playing in the 1st song? Its absolutely beautiful.
