  • Nobody's waiting 45 minutes for a cup of tea. Here is Sweet Tea in the South. Steep the tea bags for like 5 minutes, add a ton of sugar, pour into plastic cups with ice. Sit back and enjoy.

  • For those who asked what kind of tea to use: Sweet Tea used to be made using Green Tea until the World Wars when Black Tea was more readily available. So now days most sweet tea is made using Black Tea. I don't know how much sugar she used but about a cup is standard.
