Recorded with Fraps, half video@30fps, converted with Virtualdub using x264vfw codec from sourceforge, watch in original for best quality.

Map: Photoreal IV, credit goes to xBlueXFoxx for the map, which can be downloaded from: http://www.gamefront.com/files/17080559/PhotorealIV_rar

Excuse some of the bad aiming, was recorded early in the morning so being half asleep didn't help, stuttering/slowdown caused by fraps, system specs:

Asus P8P67 Pro
i5 2500k@4.5ghz
Sapphire 6970x2
8GB Corsair Vengeance Ram

  • Are you having microstuttering issues? My i5-2500k @4,4GHz & 2x Unlocked 6950 in CFX Eyefinity setup has lots of it.

  • @Soreanol I did have some initially even though it was running at 35-40fps, locked the fps to 33fps with the sys_maxfps = 33 command and it fixed the stutter, so you could give that a try.

  • bit of credit for the map please? ;)

  • @xBlueXFoxx Hey!! Was sure i had put it in there somewhere, done^^ Excellent job by the way :)

  • Coolermaster Hyper 212+ :D Highest i've seen it go is 64 degrees.

  • I plan on going for a 2600k w/ a z68 delux mobo with 12 gbs ram and 2x xfx 6970s, what kind of performance should I expect?

  • @blingblingbling420 Depends what you overclock it to, with my system i can lock the fps to 35 across three screens and it never goes below that maxed out.

  • @flyingbluewaffle All right, I'll give it a try. I did find a fix for the Eyefinity & Crossfire stuttering, it seems an AMD CPU on an AMD mobo works stutter-free (this was tested on a Crosshair-V and a Phenom II x6 1100t). I'm not sure if this is works on all occasions, but it seems an Intel mobo&CPU combo has stuttering on CFX. Just thought I'd let you know. Although I would like an easier fix for this.

  • Pitbull widescreen.

  • @flyingbluewaffle totally jealous of the rig, my original video for this was recorded with the HD4850, which I'm still stuck with, totally broke at the moment, I really need to get back up to date.

  • James Bond is back!

    Maximum Bond!!!

  • what CPU Cooler Did You Use On This?
