Pretty soon, I wanna say
It'll be Spring
& we can be happy.
We'll get an apartment
& make it look cute
I'll start a new book
about healthy snacking.
We'll plant a garden
& paint in the sun,
we'll share a computer,
& browse furniture.

We can wake up on a Saturday morning & go outside.
The city will still be ugly, but we'll close our eyes.

We can have toast,
& strawberry jam,
every morning,
right before work.
Or I can play Wii Sports,
& you can sleep in.
We'll wake with the sunlight,
in strips on the bed.

'Cause I'm on a mission,
I've got a plan,
it's gonna be great,
there's two car parking.

I know that you'll miss swimming with all your friends
at the lake.
