Brennan LaBrie interviews Andy Mackie. Brennan is a nine year old that has begun publishing his own newspaper, "The Spruce Street Weekly," in Port Townsend, Washington. In this video he interviews Andy Mackie, a local celebrity and music teacher. Brennan is interviewing Andy for a future article in his newspaper. "The Spruce Street Weekly is read in at least 100 homes in Port Townsend and is sold at some local retailers. The price is $.25 per copy.
Since this video was published, Brennan has become a Time Magazine kid reporter and has been interviewed on NPR. His answers to Scott Simon's questions give some indication of why the was chosen for this position.
