Video was 1 hour long but i was not bored in any point. I first heard about this game too late as it was sold out, so now i have to wait for the next issue.. Does anyone know when it will come out in europe/finland?

The game will have to wait though, as I move through my wishlist... but I'm keeping an eye on it :)

I definitely appreciate a simplified combat system in games like this one. Great review. I had no idea it was an hour long until it was halfway over and I looked at the timer! Not sure I'm crazy about the enforce diplomacy but everything else seems very strong. Love the player boards, too and the way you track resources, income and technologies. Very nice.

Congrats on finishing a year a reviews! I know it's hard not to be able to get the vids out as often as you want, but new children are a lot of work. People will understand.

It really depends on my mood. I would much rather (usually) play a longer game that can tell me a nice long story...something that can stick in my mind for awhile, but then again, I have had a blast playing shorter games like King of Tokyo and 7 Wonders.
Bottom line - neither is better than the other, but if I am going to sit down and game, I like it when I can do it for nice long time.
