Thanks to all of the videos and information out there that helped us prepare for this delivery. She did so good and I have to say I think we as first timers did good too. She delivered her kidds with in a half an hour first one born at 1:05 PM second one at 1:32 PM and the third one at 1:33 PM. She delivered the placenta around 3:00 and the babies were all nursing at 5:00. Now we have about a month to prepare for our next goat Buttercup to Kidd. thanks for watching and thank you again for all of the fellow goat owners for sharing all of your experiences.
@mommedout first because she may have more than one and she may not lick the first one to breath,and second because some goats are a bit...."stupid" and dont knwo what to do so the baby needs to be cleaned from the mucus to breath....but she does need to lick it to get her smell or she wont want it!
