Sad to hear that Magical Sunrise calls Wader Nazi - obviously you don't know what you are talking about - for us who love folk music Hannes is a hero - he has fought for what he believes in - equality and socialism despite the fact that Germany regards people like him as "traitors" auf Deutsch - Es tut mir leid zu hören daß M. S. denkt daß Hannes Wader ist ein "Nazi" - fur Leute die Volksmusik mögen ist Hannes ein echtes Hero - er ist socialist obwohl es nicht populär in Deutschland ist
@dipsilalaundco No, I know of no professional Nazi choir recording these days, so the version from the other thread MUST have been an original. If you know otherwise, please tell me when and where the other version was recorded.
@TomDavid88 Hi. I saw your post on the "march version" of this song. that version is new and made by neo nazis. Nowerdays they like to present themself as victims and try anything to get closer ti the middle of society and cover up their fascist and hate ideology. they just use this song which originally is a statement for liberty in mind and acting, values they want to supress.
i read that this song was banned by the third Reich regime.
maybe i am mislead.
at any case - this also should not be a surprise if they did as they used the social sign of the swatstica and called themseves national socialists even thought nationalism (freedom for each nation to live in a country and culture of its own) and socialism had nothing to do with how Hitler chose to run Germany.
yet he was not the first that conquered lands and killed the citizens
I love this song soo much- this song is 400 years old- great!!!
