WOO!!! Japanese for Busy People!!! I have that same book, it rocks! I'm almost done with it too. I recommend learning Katakana first since it's more universal in terms of borrowed things. Once you learn Katakana, you're more functional in the Japanese world and Hiragana will be a breeze. I totally recommend the videos posted by myargonauts. You've probably seen them, but he is on his 5th year in Shimane and he has so much information that will help you. Good luck!

so now that you're here, do you feel you were well-prepared?
It's also interesting to see how your approach to learning Japanese will change now that you're here - you'll be able to better focus on what you really need to know to get by in school and around town.
Good luck!
Hello! I'm also thinking of applying to Jet programme after I'm done with my Bahcelors. It's nice hearing from people who experience it. Are you thinking of making a blog/vlog?

Yes, I've been blogging. Sort of fell off the wagon on vlogs though!
