Jefferson County, Ohio deer hunt

Here is a video of the doe I shot at 72 yards from the ladderstand I was hunting in.
Video and deer was shot on opening day of deer gun season 11/30/09.
Sorry if the video gets you dizzy or bored but there was alot of moving around.

I'm a huge hunter and respect it. That doe shouldn't of been taken with a shotgun at that distance. That was a bad shot :/ to much pain involved. You should use a center fire rifle. A deer should drop when you hit it. Not wander like it had been hit by an arrow. Especially with a 12 gauge slug. Good luck in future hunting. Focus on that aim and be more humane my friend ;)

@kwkninja Were not permitted to use rifles for deer hunting in Ohio and that doe only ran 30 yards and dropped from where I shot her and the shot wasn't all that great but she was quartered away and just started to walk away as I pulled the trigger so that's why its not the best shot but it put her down so that's what matters to me.

@62ermaFF Yup thanks. Yeah the slug I was shooting was a sabot slug and there good to shoot out to about 200 yards.

Good shot but i honestly dont agree with that 70 yards slug or not. personaly i would take a shot with a shot gun more then 50 yards... but thats my opinion. but good kill brotha
