    thanks so much, I am going to try and fix myself as maxbmw has tried twice and not been able to. Before I drop about 800 on an entire new unit, will give this a go!

    WOW! I watched allot of training and diagnostic videos when I worked for GM, but this one was 100% better. Now I am going to run some test on my cruise control.
