great comment very true if all qualifying people owned guns and carried them the outlaws would think twice about committing crimes in fear of retaliation from a by stander and we would save loads of money cuz we wouldent need so many police riding around for nothing "an armed man is a citizen, an unarmed man is a subject" this means that holding a gun also gives you respect from cops who might want to abuse their power. guns arent the killers its the sick people who own guns illegally.
