Landscape professionals and homeowners who want the back-to-nature look of rocks and boulders, but don't want the hassle of finding, moving and installing real ones that weigh hundreds--if not thousands--of pounds using expensive heavy equipment are today turning to fake, faux and artificial rocks and boulders.

Some do-it-yourself (DIY) hobbyists attend classes in-person to learn how to make fake and faux rocks, or find instructions on the Internet, but most soon realize it's difficult to create a rock that is durable, affordable and realistic despite advertised claims by self-described experts to the contrary.

This video from www.ArtificialRocksFactory.com provides an overview of how fake, faux and artificial rocks and boulders are manufactured in a factory setting while accurately demonstrating the type of materials, equipment and experience needed.

  • Thank you, AussieBush9! We pride ourselves on the quality, realism and customer service that we offer homeowners as well as museum exhibit designers, visual merchandisers creating retail store window and floors displays, and others looking for a more professional experience.

  • can u name me the materials ill need to do that .. the tools everything i need to make that

  • Thank you for your inquiry! Our video was designed to give an overview of our fake rock manufacturing process in the factory. Unfortunately, we don't offer free consultations and are unable to share our years of experience with those who want to commercially duplicate our products.

  • It's a multi-step process using latex rubber reinforced with glass fiber manufactured in France and Japan.

  • Cool video. After a while my eyes were straining from all the fading from pic to pic.

  • LOL! Sorry about that....it's the price we had to pay using still photos instead of editing a video. Thank you for watching!
