G.W. Rule of Rose [PS2] Part 23 - Boss Battle #2 : Mermaid

Part 23 : Irony maybe ? But that battle was A LOT easier with the cleaver. Also excuse my editing if you dont like it thats your prob hahaha ha ha haha ^^ I think its funny and i was sick of that violin so meh whatever i dont think much will complain ^^

Boss Strategy : Mermaid

Weapon Use : Meat Cleaver.

As the battle begin, the mermaid will be right above her bed. Do NOT go no where near that area. If you are feeling adventurous, you can try your luck, but if you're using the Cleaver, you will not reach her. So backing away is a nice idea.

Tip : Brown is REALLY useless during this fight to give damage. If you are carefully looking at him, he will place himself either near the next place the Mermaid will drop or at least in the line she will be dropping.

Tip2 : Listen to her scream. The louder she scream as she fall down from the roof the closer she will be from Jenny.

Tip3 : I highly suggest you to have the camera in one corner. Do not have it in front of you as you walk toward the unknown.

Tip4 : Not more then 2 hits. Don't be too eager to finish this fight. You MIGHT get lucky and score 3 hit or even 4. But she'll most likely hurt you in the process. You wanna play this fight carefully.

As i said, it takes 32 hits on her to kill her so take your time. Even if you score only one hit dont be afraid to back away and take your chance the next drop. Theres no time rushing you.

Brown does NOT have to live through this fight. If you're feeling uneasy having to control your dog and Jenny and dont mind letting your dog die for this battle, you can do so and thus he wont be annoying you. (Surely i could never do that) but some people can't take distraction. If you do have a problem with your dog dying but he is in your way, Putting him in a corner like i did is your only solution. Dont worry Brown has a lot of hp. As long as he doesnt take direct hit multiple time, he'll be fine.

Tip5 : Dont stop running... the reason you see me run in circle during the whole battle is because of this : when Jenny is stop and she start moving, theres a tiny delay, she takes a first step then start running. By keeping running in circle like i did, this will prevent you from being slow down and taken by surprise as she'll fall down on you.

Tip6 : If you manage to get injure to the point Jenny start being slow, dont act like a hero and use a healing item. You'll find tons of other one later. If you even have a cookie dont be afraid to use it. You want your max mobility for this battle

Finally last tip7 : If the mermaid pukes on you or you get stuck in a pool of acid vomit, do NOT move. Even if the mermaid is right next to you. Dont even attack her. You'd rather want her to punch you out of the puke or just want it to disappear. If you try to walk in that, your life will go down faster then a new John Cusack's movie.
