    in Intelligente Artista!!!

GRAZIE!!!

    Grazie . Elba

  • Dal 4:15-al 4:35--insuperabile, Walter. Grazie tanto*****!

  • Gran bell'opera Giulietta e Romeo bella musica . bravissimo come sempre il nostro Franco. Grazie.

    Walter.

  • its amazing. His diminuendos are as easy as something just turning down a volume nob on a radio...simply amazing. Beautiful

  • Grazie mille...Franco Corelli è il massimo!

  • My interpretation is that Romeo means: take my money even if you face the capital punishment and sell me the poison.

Of course, the play is extremely complex and so are the characters. There is an infinite number of possible interpretations for the actors. But, unfortunately, people usually forget the complexity of this play, one of Shakespeare's greatest.

  • 2nd comment:

Act V, Scene 1 of the play Romeo and Juliet:

Romeo goes to the apothecary (pharmacist) in Mantua to buy poison.

    ROMEO:...What, ho! apothecary!

    APOTHECARY: Who calls so loud?

(So Shakespeare wanted this in fortissimo!)

When the pharmacist refuses to sell poison, because that was punishable by death under "Mantua's law," Romeo replies:

ROMEO: Art thou so bare and full of wretchedness,

And fear'st to die? ... The world is not thy friend nor the world's law

  • 1. Grazie, Walter.

    In inglese:

I disagree with the users who say Corelli was too dramatic for this role. Ok, the opera is beautiful, but let us remember the PLAY: Romeo is actually a very violent man. There are many examples, but here is only one: see next comment.
