Il Dolce Suono - by Inva Mula, Albanian opera singer

This is the famous song of the movie "The Fifth Element" performed by character Diva Plagalaguna, actually sung by Inva.
The opera part is from a part of Lucia de Lammermoor by Donizetti. The modern second half was composed specially for the movie.

  • Sadly, Inva's mother passed away a few days ago at the age of 80. Nina Mula, from Russia married Avni Mula, Inva's father, 60 years ago. She was a great soprano herself very much respected in Albania.

  • NONONONONO she is not inva mula..HAHAAHAH, im sorry .. its from fifth element korean soprano singer..

  • @djmccrea2009 She has a very beautiful voice. My guess as to dislikes - either people didn't like the addition of the modern part to the first 3 minutes of waht is a very tragic, very beautiful 20-minute scene from an opera, or they just don't like operatic sound. Just a guess, I think Inva Mula sings this beautifully.

  • @ayp1986 I wonder if at least some of the people didn't like the addition of the contemporary part to the start of a very famous opera aria - not me, I liked it. But Lucia di Lammermoor from which most of this is taken is really beautiful, and it's tragic too, here it's out of context, but this may in part explain to you why some people may not like this particular arrangement: /watch?v=Q3kzqzXHp2A Just a guess. For all we know, some people just don't like operatic sound.
