The US Coast Guard Auxiliary Band of the Fort Salonga, NY flotilla 22-7, plays the Star Spangled Banner at the Opening of the Ducks AAA ball game on June 21, 2009. The Auxiliary is the uniformed, non-military, civilian volunteer component of the US Coast Guard, a department of Homeland Security. The Band is the first Auxiliary Band formed in the US and was formed in Nov 2007. The band is steadily growing and looking for more musicians. Use your musical skills for a patriotic cause and join the band. The band supports the goals of the US Coast Guard Auxiliary, which is all about recreational boating safety. • The cymbal player is awesome5*

  • I hope you guys will resurrect and play the march Coast Guards by Karl King. It is seldom heard any more which is a shame. Oddly, I heard it frequently in Indianapolis as a kid. You can find it here on YouTube easily just by searching on Coast Guards Karl King good luck Bob M
