Avinu Malkeinu is on of the most sacred of Jewish prayers. This melody is particularly sung during the high holy days, and is ususally one of the most stirring and emotional points of the service ususally sung by a cantor, and due to the difficulty of the song, almost impossible to sing without an incredible range...Noa has such a voice as does Streisand. Kudos to both...

I disagree/ This song is not an pop art disign for scene/ This is deepest soul cry not a melodrama/ It is nice when articts try to experiment but those need highest level of performanse/ and this is a problem/ average one can not be a giant!

I only recently traced my roots back to a Jewish grandmother on my father's side and a Jewish grandmother on my mother;s side. I am seriously thinking, regardless of the unrest in the mid-East, of making aliyah. Again, thanks for sharing. Shalom
