In a study, 15 Google users were recruited by a qualitative research firm and instructed to use Bing, exclusively, for one week. The studys sponsor, Microsoft, wasnt revealed until after participants indicated their likelihood to remain with their current search engine or switch to Bing.

  • This person made no sense at all other then showing that she needed to say the word "irrelevant" in every sentence. Her whole argument was against search engines of the past mainly MSN and MSN Live.

  • You should normalize your amount of links tested. Try one more link on Google search, then it will be only 10 % compared to 70 % :)

    But yes, I agree. I dislike Bing. I've tried it a number of times out of pure interest, but I've always been a Googl'er. Bing is too busy, and full of just nonsensical 'suggestions'. It's just messy; like yahoo.

  • Wow, bing sucks! Example:

    Searching for "youtube upload hd tutorial"

    Google: 1 irrelevant link out of 9 (= 11,1%)

    Bing: 7 irrelevant links out of 10 (= 70%)

    Hmmm... I wonder which search-site is better? ;)
