A short documentary on The William Hood House located in Sonoma County. California Historical Landmark #692 lies on the grounds of the Sonoma County Juvenile Hall detention center. This video was produced as a project for a film class I am taking.
Mark ... there are many innacuracies (FYI) here... first- U.S. Senator Thomas Kearns bought the property in 1905 ...not 1893. He did not purchace just the land the home was on. He owned almost 2,000 acres including the home. The interior and furnishings and the home itself is 'not' original. The home's footprint was enlarged by Kearns and redone inside -interior & furniture by Kearns... this information is not widely known... -Michael Kearns

Very good job Mark. Very good use of moving stills to show the interior. I sure know more about this landmark than I did before. Glad I could help.
