is there a purpose for having your feet inwardly rotated like that? it almost looks as if he's purposely walking pigeon toed

@heavysurf858 Good eye! We find that with a little internal rotation of the front foot the athlete can recruit the semimembranosus and semitendinosus more effectively. These muscles are harder to recruit when performing more traditional posterior chain exercises. It’s also a safety issue, a toe out position is more compromising to the knee.

@deadheadbiker Vertical movements are not nearly as precarious as linear movements. I’d draw a force diagram for the joint but it would be tough on youtube comments!!!
