@1ForMySeether No, it's more like a prequel. "The Hobbit" was written before Lord of the Rings, and it's main character is Bilbo Baggins, Frodo (from LOTR)'s cousin and adoptive gaurdian. Frodo sees him as an uncle. "The Hobbit" is a more lighthearted adventure involving Bilbo, 13 dwarves, and Gandalf. Although the Ring is involved (and you'll see how, muahaha), it is not about the One Ring and takes place long before many of the mortal characters in LOTR are even born.

Not being "pushy" or anything, but, will we see more, "magic"? As in fire-balls and lighting from Gandalf? etc? I really do hope so. And I must say, such a great choice of actors for Thorin and also Radagast. I can not wait until I see them on screen. Also, the theme of "The Lord Of The Rings" would that be used? (theme around 5:15) Don't worry if no one knows, but it would be nice to know that the famous track will be back. Bring on the rest of these videos and podcasts! I'm buzzing already!!!!
