@rrobertsnot5150 For me I think it actually suits the engine. Look for a video of the London Fire Brigade pump engine with two single strobes on the roof. Their sirens fit fire engines perfectly.

@rrobertsnot5150 What do you think it should be?

It doesnt have the "4" callsign as the boom has no rescue ladder attached, it can only be used as a pump with a water/foam tower or light mast
-
@HermitousZen i guess not to stupid

the airial is different to the foam tender/pump because if you look at the boom on papatoetoes its got a ladder and this one is just a thin boom

rpg123 :: We don't use "codes" so to speak here in NZ. When we are called out we use lights and sirens everytime. We will turn our sirens off if there is no traffic or pedestrians but that is a call made by the officer in charge of the truck. Really, is there a point driving down an empty road with sirens blaring? Lights is a sure thing.

where is that?
That's odd, aerial monitors are usually numbered ending with a 4, i.e. 424 instead of 421. Papatoetoe 344 is nearly identical to this truck...

It is also the foam tender (yeah I know they are 13's), but is also a 1st in pump, hence the '1'
