In a game which many feel secured his Heisman Trophy, Reggie Bush ran for 294 yards on 23 carries, and finished with a total of 513 all-purpose yards (2nd all-time). The #16 Bulldogs made a good game of it, taking a 42-41 lead with less then 10 minutes left, but the #1 Trojans came back to win, 50-42.

I remember watching this game when I was 7 being scared out of my mind. The better team lost the BCS rose bowl that year. It still hurts to this day.

USC's defense sucked that year. Fresno state put up 42 points on them, along with Notre Dame and other schools putting up big numbers. USC needed the defense from the year before to stop Vince Young.

Yea this would be a good rivalry. Both teams have only played twice in '05 and in 1992. The series is tied 1-1.
