I don't think a day is good enough do any city. Neither is a tour. You just get pushed around between different acts. To really see a place and not be the normal tourist, be a traveller and go independently!

Spent 2 days in Tangier in 1965. From this video, nothing much has changed except lots more tourists walking the streets.

i live in tangier, im glad spain is nearby compelling tourists to visit! unfortunately to truly relish tangier and its assets one needs at least 4 days.

i did this last year... not for the brits who don't like bartering or being hustled everywhere you go. this day trip is primarily aimed at sales opportunities. not for the faint hearted!!!

We did this trip according to Rick's advice in his Spain book and it was well worth it! Tarifa is quaint and Tangiers was an experience. We got a guide right off the boat and did a walking tour all day. We even ran into one of the guides that Rick mentions in his book at a local restaurant in the medina! His tips and hints are always spot on! Thank you!
