RYLAND BOUCHARD, "KINGS" was shot on Super 8 film in Mexico City, Mexico on October 2nd, 2008 during the 40th Anniversary protest of the Tlatelolco Massacre in 1968 in which over 1,000 students were murdered by the Mexican Police in the Plaza de las Tres Culturas. The footage in the video is of the large Mexican police force present at the protest controlling the crowds. Filmed and directed by Ryland Bouchard. All footage was shot with natural lighting and no digital effects or editing was used in the making of the film. In total, one reel of Kodak Ektachrome 64T film was used for the duration of the film.
