Delois Barrett Campbell is excluded from the above photo used, why?

from everything great artistically about delois, the greatest portion is how she would harmonize with whom ever and how she would allow her vibrato to resonant in recordings and during live performances is reason why she is one of thebest to ever open her mouth. The freedom in her sound and the way she would give you power and ease at one time is the reason I love her much. The great depth of her spirituality is reason she continues to be one of the greatest vocalist in my life.

couldn't have said it better Jay and direfranch
that was beautiful....and the stripped down quality of this--makes you realize how noisey/electronic/scattered some of the recordings are today.
Delois one of the best voices of all time!

Masterpiece! One of Delois' best recordings. The interplay between her and Roberta Martin's piano was seldom captured so well. And dig that lusty top note!
