We provide doors of any material, primarily laminated glass in any color, as well as stainless steel. We can provide wood doors or any other material customized to order. Our system uses an electric motor on a belt driven track that is programmed in 1/500 of an inch resolution. Speeds for both opening and closing are easily programmed on the controller. Acceleration rate and deceleration rates are programmable. The system has a 'current sensing' feature on the motor drivers that allow the door to retract at the slightest obstacle, as can be seen in the door demonstration. There are motion sensors build into the door frame that check for any motion while the door is closing to determine if there is an obstruction, and the door automatically retracts if so. An additional single or multiple laser beam(s) can be used to check for obstruction or unwanted entry for extra security and safety.

This system is a one of a kind product. We have spent years developing and testing this system in real world applications, then redesigning again and prototyping numerous incarnations to arrive at what we feel is the easiest pocket door installation and setup on the market.

We provide two different touch panels: A standard touch panel with locking feature, as well as a keypad/keycode touch panel with fingerprint access option. The fingerprint option allows up to 1000 users to have access, although more could be managed with extra software. Other options can be configured on a custom basis, including custom touch panels or hidden proximity panels where one could just wave a hand near and cause the door to open.

The door system is fully programmable, and networkable over a series of standard ethernet type cable. Custom software can be designed for a PC or Mac monitoring and control center to manage and monitor any number of doors. We can connect outside voltage inputs to operate the doors, such as a TV that outputs low voltage to operate a TV door. The system has a hi-fi audio output for use in the human voice programming setup, plus any sound effects can be played back during opening and closing in case the user wants some audible feedback when there is an entry. The user simply loads an mp3 of their sound effect on to USB drive and plugs it in. Anyone can set up and install our system with just basic construction experience. Programming the parameters is a breeze with the main controller. This system is on the pricey side, it is designed for the discriminating client. The systems are built to order in Los Angeles.

  • There have been a few comments about options other than using the touch panel to open and close the door. To clarify, this demo video does not show but just a few options. The options are constantly being updated and expanded. Clients should contact us via the website with inquiries.

    Options include:

    Motion sensors

Wifi networking (Local network and internet remote control, monitoring, software updates, parameter updates)

RS485 serial connection of any number of doors to a main system

    RFID

  • Built in features include Auto-Close and Timer, thermostat for temperature controlled opening/closing, sound FX when, locking feature, adjustable pressure sensing for auto door retraction. If there is no power, and no battery back up or UPS, the door will slide open easily.

  • Not very practical as a main entrance... Could you imagine rejecting a Jehovah's witness at the door? Awkward!!!

  • What do you do when the door doesn't open? No one ever thinks of that, then bam women trapped in the kitchen, or guy trapped in closet.

  • This video is rediculously long for a door that slides open and closed

  • So you can peek through the doors. Smart.

  • Hang on, I think I know the code... *SMASH*

  • I would play with that door every freaking day

  • I just don't know what to say. Great thing on so many levels, but not so accessible to a broad audience. Money and structure are surely limiting factors.

  • Holy Shit this is incredible!
