I got goosebumps right at 0:01 when I saw Ali shadowboxing and coming out the tunnel...holy shoot...

@aschindler22 I thought he had decent endurance. He just didn't know how to pace himself, especially during the Ali bout. Once he got older he seemed to pace himself masterfully. Amazing endurance? No but I think he had decent endurance. He was also inexperienced in bouts that went the distance, I think only 3 of his fights had gone the entire distance so everything before and up to the Ali fight certainly showed he didn't have good endurance due to him knocking guys out early.

Ali was like a heavy bag that was just right in your face but you can never land a big hit on it...amazing...plus of course he had sick defense, could take body shots, amazing fearlessness and understanding of the game...played foreman perfect...no one else could have beaten foreman in his prime like this...tyson , anyone...foreman was just too big and powerful...like lebron james of boxing...freakish power and light on his feat

other than all the amazing things about ali , the one thing that I think allowed him to win this fight is something that many people dont understand...Ali spoke after the fight and barely mentioned it...he briefly said "I also have a radar built into my head" this "radar" is what allowed him to stand in close range with the biggest hardest hitter in history, Ali was in his range like a heavy bag that lets you hit it, but that never gets hit in the right spot or always is braced for the punch.

this has to be the bravest performance in the history of boxing!!!to come up with the "rope-a dope"showed ali"s tactical genius,but to carry it through against maybe the most fearsome fighter in heavyweight history took some nerve!!!ali"s ability,certainly in the heavyweight division,is unequalled,but his courage(in all things,not just boxing)is what sets him apart from the rest!thats why the whole world loves this guy!he"s irreplaceable!
