A granular slicer/sampler/effect I built. Based on an AVR atmega88 and coded in Bascom. Internal ADCs and PWM output. Uses 23k256 as RAM.

Music being processed is first Boards of Canada - Zoetrope, and then Mum - Smell Memory

  • you noisey so and so.. :) cool stuff man!...

  • I feel your pain with the unrelated day job too. Much the same here with it taking priority over all. So much in various stages of completion but sleep and headaches after a lovely shift of cnc milling 'excellence' tend to take the lead... Escape velocity must be achieved ;)

  • Superb. It's time someone made a decent granular synth in hardware. Very impressed :)

  • Choice demo song selection, too.

  • I recently started using AVR chips to make digital hardware glitch effects and your previous videos along with this one have seriously inspiring me to keep up development. It's cool to see that other people are actually interested in making this stuff.

Looking forward to your next demo.

  • Am I the only one who would love to see an amen break going through this thing?

    great work, well done!

  • Wow! Very cool! Getting inspiration just watching the video!

  • epic
