Its time to go old-school and test a new fake AV with a camera.

4. Download and install MBAM from here: http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam-download.php

  • I had to do this EXACT SAME method to get system tool off my dad's PC!!

  • Wow looks like system tool -__-

  • @Zoom15000 Also, you say "you understand....." like i don't.

Dumbfuck, you explained the obvious. AGAIN. I damn well understand it. I could understand it in my sleep.

  • @Zoom15000 I understand perfectly, well more than you.

    I unplug my internet.

    Me: 1

Comic book nerds in their mom's basement making viruses: 0

  • @supertoasteroftoast I meant "no sense"

It doesn't happen all the time though. The program is an empty shell with a genuine looking design to trick people.

Here's an example: You sometimes get these popups come up in browsers which are designed with a "close button" within it. Clicking this button will show it's not really a close button but a link to a website. It's a FAKE close button not to be trusted. Just as it is a FAKE AV not to be trusted. You understand...?

  • @supertoasteroftoast I didn't mention anything about buying it. I said the whole idea that activating it to remove a virus that the program itself gives you makes know sense as to why someone would give you that option when they've made a program to deliberately infect your computer. It doesn't happen all the time.

I watched his Zentom video at no point does he mention or prove that activating it removes any kind of virus. The "cleanup" in these fake programs mean nothing.

  • @Zoom15000

"AT least i'm not a fucking idiot"

    Actually....

    Never mind.

You said it like you had to purchase it, which is stupid. Also, It happens all the time.

Hell, go watch his Zentom Video. THE VIRUS REMOVES WHEN THE CODE IS PUT IN.

    Checkmate.

  • @supertoasteroftoast he tells you to put the code into the activation box ergo activating, or registering, the product.

But let me get this straight. You think that someone would deliberately create a fake AV which puts a virus on your computer, then easily allow you to remove that virus by putting in a code? Why would anyone who wants to create a malicious program like that want to make it easy for you? Maybe I'm captain obvious but at least I'm not a fucking idiot.

  • @CGV2222 I upvote your comment. God speed good sir.

  • @Zoom15000 Holy shit, you are retarded.

He does not tell you to register it. He tells you to put the code in, which usually gets rid of the virus.

Where the hell is your brain, and what have you done with it?

"these programs look genuine but that's the point"

    CAPTAIN OBVIOUS TO THE RESCUE!!!

Hi, I am Captain Obvious! I state the obvious! Did you know that I am a captain? Who states the obvious?
