  • its not "for iPhone" its "for iOS"

  • At first, I was irritated. Now I'm fascinated.

It's like a slasher movie, except instead of Jason Vorhees, it's our friend Amanda, and instead of people, she's slaughtering the English language.

Some people just shouldn't be in show business.

  • Too long; didn't watch.

  • What about the Free Parking space?! Can you set it to win the pot, like in the popular alternate way to play the board game?

  • @aidanM92 Old consoles rule! I've met 5 year olds that still love the Sega Genesis.

  • @progrocker69 and, I'm just stating my opinion, please don't call it pathetic. Praise Monopoly all you want, it's your choice, but if you played some newer game designs your opinion on the matter might change.

  • The problem is that most people don't know that newer boardgames exist or that there are board games other than those prouced by parker bros./Milton Bradley. There are awesome indie game companies who have new and innovative approaches to boardgame design but big store like walart won't carry their games because they just arent household names like monopoly or risk. When it comes to boardgames popularity=/= quality.

  • @aidanM92 And what's more, name a good game which does NOT contain random elements? Monopoly might be random, but there are proven strategies and methods for improving one's game and assuring a better than even chance of winning against someone of lesser skill.

So then, are you also trying to tell us that children shouldn't be exposed to games or other situations which may foster a better understanding of probability and statistics, which are tools for good critical thinking?

    Okay, sure....

  • @aidanM92 Your "newer is better" logic is pathetic. By your reasoning, children should never be exposed to, among countless other things:

Bowling, billiards, checkers, chess, backgammon, Scrabble, almost any game involving playing cards, frisbees, golf, tennis, karate and tae kwon do, swimming, bicycles, baseball, football, basketball, hockey or surfing.

Because, all of those things have been around for several generations, if not hundreds or thousands of years.
