Thanks for shedding some light on the Afghan war issue. I didn't know all the facts surrounding it.

All of the best information available shows that Osama Bin Laden died somewhere between the 22nd and the 24th of December 2001 and according to Benazir Bhutto he was murdered by Sheikh Omar Saeed.

This whole thing started because they wanted to create a new pipeline but had some snags Afghanistan and Yugoslavia. In Yugoslavia Slobodan Milošević opposed the pipeline plans forcing the USA to create a crisis and use it as justification to remove him. In Afghanistan the Taliban wanted their cut of the profits forcing the White House in negations with Taliban leadership. The terrorist attack on the World Trade Center in September 2001 was promptly blamed on them despite lack of evidence.
