@FreeHandMehndi actually i am doing it myself, right now i am looking for a design and practicing, i am not bad at drowing so it soudn't be hard, since it's my first one i am going to do something small and simple, not everyone has your talent but i hope i can do something more elaborated in time, thanx a bunch! ;)

@NydiaLopez let it dry until it starts to crumble off. The longer you wear it the darker it will be. Did the henna artist give you aftercare instructions?

it looks like she had put a mix of lemon and sugar on her hand. lots of people do it to make the colours more vibrant.

You are right, the sugar lemon juice seals the design so the henna will stay moist longer and allow the color to be darker. A dark color can also come from good quality henna.
