This is a test of the "Das Blinken Lights" component for our "MadSci2000" interactive control panel that will be part of our home haunt this year. It just blinks prettily and with a hopefully hard-to-detect-pattern. The circuit is adapted from the 3x3x3 LED cube over at 555-timer-circuits: http://www.555-timer-circuits.com/3x3x3-cube.html
For you electronics nerds, we changed the capacitor and resistor to speed up the pattern of the lights, and added LEDs on the three other outputs of the binary counter, too (to get a nice square number of LEDs).
There are several other components to the control panel, but this is the one with the most wires (so many LEDs, so many wires).
