Pretty sweet for a Buick lol. I love the Bi-Xenon headlights!

  • Fast little buick. I would've never thought

  • @drippinblood28

wow this is definitely NOT a little Buick! haha the 3.6L 288 hp DI V6 does make it go but it isn't very refined in the upper revs.

  • @xoquixxoqafxo I like this 3.6 better than the pentastar v6 from chrsyler though. It gets better gas mileage, equal hp, but more torque. What's bad about it in the upper revs? Are you just going by the noise of the engine or can you feel it?

  • @drippinblood28

Sounds a bit coarse and grainy in upper revs. If you hear it from the exhaust on the outside its even worst than from the inside

  • They're really geared for smoothness rather than performance by looking at that somewhat slow 1-2 shift. They R nice inside-N-Out but what bugs is how they made Acadia, Outlook, & Traverse. Too much rebadging for the same thing.

  • @Intechdude300

Yeah and smooth this thing is. I can see why soo many old ppl love this car. Ride is pillowy and it doesn't handle too bad. V6 makes a nice noise and pulls decently too. But you are right about the transmission, it wants to get into 6th gear quickly and doesn't want to give it up unless u floor it. The Outlook is dead tho so its now 3 different versions of this platform. The Buick version is definitely the best one and the most pricey.

  • I would not recommend this to any lambda suv - timing chain will bent, if your out of warranty your screwed.

  • I have a GMC Acadia which is basically the same thing as this Buick, and my Acadia's power amazes me with the AWD. And my Acadia too has Bi-xenon, and I absolutely love it too. So bright. To me, the Acadia looks the best out of the Buick Enclave, Saturn Outlook, and Chevy Traverse. Acadia all the way.

  • I purchased a 2010 Encalve Vancouver Olympic crossover for a huge discount. We love this car. Great acceleration for its size, trouble free operation, and oil changes every 9000 miles or so when th OLMS tells us to do it. Gas mileage with all wheel drive in CT is averaging 20 in a mixture of local road and highway driving. I don't know of another 8 passenger car that can do all of this. The car is pretty quiet even under hard acceleration. Oh yes, I am in my 30s, not 60.

  • Actually the Chrysler Pentastar makes 290-305 HP depending on the application and this is produced without the use of GDI. Not saying I dislike the GM 3.6 however I like the Chrysler better, over all the best American V6 has to be the Twin Turbo Eco-Boost from Ford.

  • <3 this car

  • I Love Enclaves.....they are pretty damn nice...and huge!...tons of space in em.

  • I rented one of these in Florida and it really is a smooth ride and yet it has a heep of torque off the line. But i found that it doesnt have much power if your doing about 40mph and put your foot down. Mostly just makes noise.

  • Buicks are now known to be quiet and smooth with decent acceleration - this executes this objective. The handling being pretty good is a new thing that only the last few Buicks (not the Lucurne, but the Regal, Enclave, LaCrosse) bring to the table. The competition Buick is aiiming at is Lexus. For the large SUV, Lexus has a hard time comparing. For the midsized car, the Lexus and Buick are neck and neck. For the small car (Regal), the ES350 is still ahead on fit and finish.

  • Those shifts are horrifyingly mushy. Someone needs to tell GM that you can have quick and firm shifts without being rough.
