There's something about that Porsche flat six, when the drivers were downshifting with the H-pattern gearbox and there was the HUGE jump in revs when they KICKED the throttle to blip it. That defined endurance racing for me as a kid. I really miss it. Wouldn't mind if Grand-Am (as they are more likely to do it than the ACO) mandated GT cars have to have H-pattern gearboxes.

i agree with you guys. This is really special to watch, since ive watched these cars race for close to 15 years. Nothing matchs the sound that those ferrari's make. None of this desiel crap.
