@strokeofirish1- is it really such a bad thing that the government is trying to bring in better foods for our children in school? Is increasing our childrens' levels of physical activity such a bad thing even if the government has to help push it along? I'll bet you won't complain when your insurance cost goes down due to decreased demand because our society is healthier.

Michelle is not my damn mother. She needs to mind her business. I don't want her fat butt tell us how to raise our kids and how to eat right. This is not England. We have the right to make our own decisions not her nor her dumbass husband. Leave us the hell alone.

Obama’s “Let’s Move” campaign — aimed at tackling childhood obesity — “singles out” heavy children. Will this turn obese children into targets for bullies?

its great what she is doing but jamie oliver was doing this before her and no one listened to him. the american school boards werent letting him come anywhere near their schools. it just shows how the schools only care about their reputaion rather than childrens health

She is in full support of the coming ApocalOBAMA, do not hold this women up as some sort of goody-two-shoes.
In my opinion, the amount of fat kids in the USA is a real poor reflection on this society in general. Parents feed their kids crap, kids live off junk food, soda, chips and all the other crap. I see parents feeding their kids soda and donuts for breakfast....well I guess it is ok because it is low in fat, sugar is good. When I was a kid there was one fat kid in school, that kid by todays standards would not even be fat. I think that lack of discipline is out of control in this country...YUCK.

I am glad that we are hearing nationally that healthier food needs to be served in school. School systems are sometimes serving the lowest cost food to be found which can equal lowest nutritive value.
