Oh, if only Christy would have listened when Cass said this, because he meant it and was completely and totally serious.
Frankie fixes Christy some tea, and Christy talks about how Douglas drank gallons of Frankie's tea because he said it soothed him. Cass tells Christy it will take a while for everything to sink in. Christy doesn't want Cass and Frankie to hate her for keeping them from being together. They are sitting on either side of her on their couch when she says this, and Cass reaches across Christy to take Frankie's hand, and as they hold hands and look at each other, Cass says, "Frankie and I will always be together. It doesn't matter when we get married. " Christy breaks the spell, and the moment of Cass and Frankie looking tenderly at each other, by standing up and announcing that she is so exhausted. Cass tells her there will be plenty of time in the morning to deal with all the arrangements. Christy asks if Cass will be there, and he says where else would he be but with his two girls? Frankie follows Christy upstairs but turns back to mouth "I love you" to Cass. He returns the sentiment, then calls someone, identifies himself, and tells the person that he'll feel much better if this person will help him. Thanks to Janie for the scenes.
