More proof of the musical magic of Liverpool , Arrival, made up primarily of members from that city performing "Take Me" from their debut album on Decca records in 1970. Written by the group's melodic genius Frank Collins, this song demonstrates the power and brilliance of the band. Vocalists Frank Collins, Dyan Birch, Paddy McHugh and Carroll Carter. Keyboards by Tony O'Malley, drums Lloyd Courteney and bass by Don Hume.
String arrangements by Paul Buckmaster at his peak.

  • About an Arrival compilation CD. The problem is that they were with two different labels on their two alums, Decca and CBS, so getting the labels to agree to release a "best of" would be difficult since Decca records is a mess right now in 2011. I'm shocked there aren't bootlegs floating around, since neither label seem to be too concerned about issuing these great tracks.

  • great songs how do find them?

  • For reasons unknown, Decca have never re-issued this material on CD. It only exists on vinyl. It's a shame. This is truly great stuff!

  • Why are their albums not out on CD? I'd buy their albums if they were available!

  • I don't know why Decca don't put out the two albums and the rare singles that never appeared on album as a collection., For example, "Out Of Desparation" and the covers of Stevie Wonder's "Mistra Know It All" and Jimmy Webb's "Let My Life Be Your Love Song" as they're all superb recordings.

  • @KeithTheKing Me too

  • Yes, I would like a copy of that Arrival album. Please get back to me with some details!

  • Now (and I guess for the first time in history) all this beautiful Arrival material is available on CD to all you Arrival fans out there who been waiting for so long. After years of frustration, just like you (I'm a huge fan), I decided to act, and a truly unique and successful co opperation between me and a friend who's a master of re-mastering, has resulted in this great album issued on CD only a few days ago.

For further details and how to get your copy, contact me through my profile.

  • I got this great album on CD with full art work, and an astonishing sound quality. I'm friends with a master of re-mastering vinyl into CD's and I sent him my Arrival album to transfer to CD. All Arrival fans who are intersted in purchasing their copy, please contact me at my YouTube messages service for further details.

  • My favourite album of all time. Unfortunately, it's sitting in my loft as I can't play vinyl! Must get around to transferring it. Surely someone's done what I haven't and put it on CD?
