thank you for putting a video out like this... there are so many people that don't understand the concept of thinking before you throw something like a hard drive out.... like they say "one mans trash is another mans treasure"...

Being from a major university town, I can also safely say that dumpster diving is a very lucrative thing. People really do throw out just about anything and it's all there for the taking.

As a Penn employee I can tell you they trash everything the dont want to drag back home with them at the end of the school year. Sad thing is they have areas set up to drop usable stuff off that can be donated to homeless shelters and Goodwill. Obviosly this guy chose to just dump it all. For being a Penn student dumping his hard drive with his social ona banking information wasnt the smartest of things to do.
