This dramatic sequence from Danielle Steele's Zoya, depicts the terror that the Russian Revolution had for the nobility and intelligentsia as well as the barbarism of the Soviet mob. Zoya and her grandmother escape from St. Petersburg and head for Paris. This dramatic score reflects Composer William Goldstein's love of the great Russian composers and another facet of his versatility.

Note: Basil Poledouris composed a beautiful theme also used in Zoya. Bur the Poledouris theme does not appear in this sequence.
