Disney Store Times Square Grand Opening Ceremony- November 9, 2010

Disney returned to New York City on November 9, 2010 as a parade of Disney characters joined Robin Roberts in opening the new Disney Store in Times Square. I apologize in advance for the visuals- from my vantage point, I was unable to see the speakers, which included Disney CEO Robert Iger and Mayor Michael Bloomberg (although I- and you- can hear them), but I WAS able to see most, if not all, of the Disney characters- Cinderella, Belle, Princess Tiana, Rapunzel, Flynn Rider, Phineas and Ferb, The Green Army Men from "Toy Story," Lightning McQueen, Buzz Lightyear, and, of course, Mickey and Minnie Mouse. Note that TInker Bell showed up on the billboard outside the store to wave her magic wand AFTER the fireworks went off- even pixie dust is susceptible to a technical hiccup every now and then!
