The sauce is a combination of dashi and shoyu.
But yeah, I threw away my first container of natto, couldn't handle the deal. Now I can't get enough of it. The strands carry the best flavor of the natto. Natto and mayo, interesting combo. Must give this a try next time.
Btw, don't pick your nose in front of the camera. :)
