Nathaniel Wilson (born July 20, 1968), better known by his stage name Kool G Rap, is an American hardcore rapper from the Corona section of Queens, New York. He began his career in the mid-1980s as one half of the group Kool G Rap & Polo, and also as a member of the Juice Crew, who were involved in The Bridge Wars (widely regarded as the first notable Hip hop rivalry). Although significant commercial success has largely eluded G Rap, he has gathered a reputation as one of hip hop's grittiest, and most consistent lyricists. In particular, his multi-syllabic rhyme patterns have proven to be influential upon a slew of latter day rappers such as Nas, and Big Pun.

Word, agree with everything. "Up, up, and away cause I dont play, clown / buck, buck, buck, take that with you on the way down", that line alone is better than everything all those "rap" clowns nowadays can write.
yea the lil wane bull shit is wack as hell. there is no lyrics. Sad part is im 14 and listed to all this shit cuz my dad got me into this music. I hate all those flashey ass beats
i aint got nothin to say against old school rap but if u think a simple line like that is better then anything today u must be high on crack boy cuz u dont know shit
I never said it's better than [everything] that's out today. No disrespect to the rappers that put out proper and amazing music even during the decline hip hop has faced but if you know who I'm referring to by "clown" then you know I'm not talking about every rapper and their lyrics from this decade. So don't twist my words.
yeah man. some poeple of our days are so fucking stupid. fuck this generation, all the great music is the old music. now ourdays every fucking song is fucking crap. i will still keep listening to the reall music. and not to dam shit that happens today. word up man.
