@ChuckSchuldinerRIP0 Unfortunately a lot of bands play in drop g nowadays, and most of them wouldn't sound heavy even in drop c or b. The low tuning thing is fast becoming a hardcore fad(don't get me wrong, I love me some good hardcore) whilst bands like dying fetus are playing in C# standard and sounding twice as heavy.

@DepthofMisery I was exaggerating. I love low tunings, it's sort of a "clique term" with my friends about Brutal-deth, they say that I listen to guitars that are in Drop G and Drop F.
