  • This album is one of the greatest Alice albums.I totally aggre with you.It's..It's..beyond explaining..

  • @normy999

I think it was intentional. But it depends on your "ear". Some will like that sound and some won't....

  • I'm a new Alice fan and I CAN NOT WAIT to listen to Brutal Planet. "Wicked Young Man" is just amazing. You're right, I can tell by reading the lyrics of that one song that it's a dark album. "Swastika tattooed on my cheek..." Wow

  • One of my fav Alice albums. The only song I dont care for is Cold Machines. Only because the riff is 'Beautiful People' by Manson.

  • I've seen Brutal Planet, Sanctuary, and Gimme live when I saw him for the first time in 2002 on the Dragontown tour!

  • I've never seen Gimme live

the only song from BP i've seen him do live is Wicked Young Man

  • Brutal Planet was a masterpiece.

    Very powerful lyrics, awesome riffs.

  • My only beef with Brutal Planet is that I thought the production quality could have been been better. The sound on that album is somewhat rough, no..?

  • I think it's a great conceptual album, with brilliant lyrics... but for the most part the music fails to entertain or move you in any way. Too "industrial," too souless. BUT... the songs "Pick Up The Bones," "It's The Little Things," and "Cold Machines" is very reminiscent of classic 70s Alice, thus they work well!

"Gimmie," "Wicked Young Man," "Pessi-mystic"'... ugh... just so bland!!

  • I really like your comments on many of these reviews. Honestly, I had thought to do this months ago and watching these now has persuaded me to do my own. I have to thank you guys for your insights and views on many of these albums. I love Alice Cooper for who is was and still is sometimes! That dark mind and edgy ways inspire me in a lot of ways. Thank you for these reviews. :)
