Greetings from Jordan ! Great performance & great music too.. I bought a small "commercial Bodhran in my visit to Dublin 8 years ago , but never used it .. you inspire me to learn to play it.

Yeah, I think that's the case in any instrument. I played a really crummy saxophone for YEARS before getting a slightly better model, and I was first chair in band thru high school. I guess the soul of the player really pays off and makes the REAL music :)

No actually, but I'm glad you found this out before it was too late :) I've got loads of videos on here, please do check them out and see what other types of music the drum goes with.
