so you solve it like solving a 5x5?
(centers, then edges, then just like the normal 3x3 version)

Did you know that mefferts.com has a solution guide on the professor pyraminx which is similar to your solution? Step 1 :You solve the centers. Step 2 :You solve the inner edges and the center edges.
