true.. but Centrino is a name used for notebooks equipped with an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, Intel Chipset and Intel Wireless Network card (WLAN), it should use less power and battery. That'' why they used the motto.. Performance on the go ^^
And indeed, the reason why it says Intel Core 2 Duo is because your notebook got a Intel Core 2 Duo in it ^^

My Dell Studio 1537 has that processor! With Win XP The games I've played so far work quite well!

I thought the core2duo was the same thing. I'm confused. I have Centrino 2 but everything shows it as a core2duo.
